Karl July GmbH is an innovative start-up founded in 2018 as a platform for patent applications but quickly developed into a dynamic company that started its own sales activities from product development. The core of the company’s activities was to translate the rich craftsmanship and industrial know-how of the region around the university town of Ilmenau into concrete, valuable potential. Here there is a long historical accumulation of knowledge in the processing of the regional wood resources and highly developed metalworking industry. The founders contribute experience from different areas. On one hand, from international design and product development responsibilities, from the management of companies and administrations as well as marketing and sales experience. Karl July ®, with its graphic elements, is a registered trademark at the German Patent and Trademark Office.
